Less Than Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy
Suggested retail is 2x the cost of wholesale. The Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) is the retail price. Sellers are not permitted to advertise products below suggested retail in order to protect the value of the brand.
Sellers are permitted to publicly advertise a sale on Less Than products. Sellers are permitted to publicly advertise with the term “sale” or advertise a percentage off. For example: “We’re having a sale on…” or “ We’re having 10% off…” but not publicly advertise a price below retail.
Within your store front, pop up or website, the same advertising as above is permitted. You may advertise in-store/in-site or use in-store/in-site signage to indicate a sale or a percentage off, but displaying the product below retail is prohibited. Discounts are to be applied at the register or time of checkout.
Sales are restricted to 2 weeks. If you have any questions regarding our MAP policy, contact us to discuss.
