Replace your plastic pot scrubbers with this beechwood and sisal pots and pans scrubber!
This sustainable swap helps you replace steel wool or plastic pot scrubbers in the kitchen or for general household cleaning. Stiff but malleable bristles especially designed to handle heavy duty cleaning; ideal for scrubbing out stains, stuck on food, removing labels from jars, tub and shower build-up, etc. Works on a variety of surfaces, especially great for cast-iron! This brush has been tested on ceramic and non-stick pans, just use with care. Can be used for 6 months-1 year.
Better Than: This scrub brush is better than plastic and steel wool alternatives because it is all natural and can be composted and the metal wire can be recycled. Also, the coconut bristles will not leach micro-plastics into the environment after each use.
Care: Hang to dry in between uses or on a dry towel to allow bristles to drain. Never leave submerged in water as it will wear on the wood causing it to crack or cause the natural bristles to fall out. Wood is naturally antimicrobial, but if you need to clean your brush, clean bristles with vinegar to kill bacteria.
When done: Can be demoted to household cleaning then home composted.
